This week will be spent mainly on completing mock CRCT testing. Monday is our designated ELA test and Wednesday is Math. Once completed, we will begin our AIMS testing which gives us data showing number knowledge and reading ability.
As a result of the amount of testing, there will be no homework given this week. We have also decided that since the end of the year is so busy, first grade will no longer do spelling tests. There will be a weekly story and spelling words, but we will just practice the spelling rule for the week at school(you are more than welcome to practice spelling words with the spelling patter at home).
