!!New Teacher!!

Due to low numbers in the county, we have had to shift teachers around to different schools in order to save jobs and lower class sizes that are too large. In doing this, first grade lost Mrs. Austin, but gained former fifth grade teacher Samantha Duke. We hope everyone is as excited as we are to have her on our team!

Upcoming Week

The week of August 8-12 is our first full week of school. During this time, your child's teacher will be assessing him or her to see where they are academically as we begin our school year. You should expect to see regular homework the following week (August 15th). Please take the time to sit down and go over things sent home with your child so that we, together, can ensure a successful first grade year!
