Agenda and reminders for the week of March 19, 2012
In ELA/Reading we are reading Peter's Chair. This story is also a realistic fiction about a boy having to share with his new baby sister. This story's phonics lesson focuses on compound words. The secondary phonics concept deals with the long u (ew,ue, ui) sounds. Grammar for this unit deals with adjectives.
*Review these concepts with your child by:
-having your child identify nouns, then add a word to describe the noun.
-having your child make a long i flip book with various words.
