Agenda and reminders for the week of March 12, 2012
In ELA/Reading we are reading Lady in the Moon. This story is a realistic fiction about a festival for children. This story's phonics lesson focuses on long i words (ie, igh). The secondary phonics concept deals with the kn /n/ and wr/r/ sound. Grammar for this unit deals with adjectives.
*Review these concepts with your child by:
-having your child identify nouns, then add a word to describe the noun.
-having your child make a long i flip book with various words.
