This Week in First! (Week of March 12th)

Agenda and reminders for the week of March 12, 2012

In ELA/Reading we are reading Lady in the Moon.  This story is a realistic fiction about a festival for children.  This story's phonics lesson focuses on long i words (ie, igh).  The secondary phonics concept deals with the kn /n/ and wr/r/ sound. Grammar for this unit deals with adjectives.

youtube videos:
-having your child practice reading kn and wr words.
-finding words with kn or wr sounds in everyday life
